Baller Careers Tip of the Week
Looking to land your next job in sports or trying to break into the industry? We’ve teamed up with Baller Careers Founder Adrienne Bueno to bring you the BEST tips/resources to land your dream job!
Tip #1- Clarify Your Personal Brand BEFORE You Apply For Jobs
In today's sports job market employers will make assumptions of who you are (in ~6 seconds) based on how you’re presenting yourself online. Before you start applying to jobs and sending connection requests, review if your LinkedIn profile, resume, and cover letter are tailored to the specific roles and job functions you’re interested in. When you make these changes, you’ll start beating the ATS because your application is optimized and you’ll stop getting ghosted when you message hiring managers because they’ll understand what value you’d bring to their organization.
Want more? Check out all the free resources and tools Baller Careers has to offer below that’s helped business professionals land sports job offers at companies including ESPN, NBA, LA Rams, Octagon, and TikTok.
